I have a big qustion here:
Which dog is Pochi?
Ginga wiki says that it was this white dog in the manga - http://ginga.wikia.com/wiki/Pochi
While many sites implied Pochi is this dog in anime -

So is the brown dog in anime really Pochi or not?

^It was recently found out that this dog is Jackal. There is studio sheet of him, with the name in it.

And that white dog is Pochi, the other dogs call him by that name.

He didn't really have a choice on the matter, as the publisher of GNG wanted him to continue the story after Akakabuto's defeat. An acquaintance of his suggested using wolves in the story, after his higher-ups suggested another bear villain named Aokabuto (lit. "blue helmet") which he refused to do.

^In Meteor Gin, Takahashi says (rough translation from Finnish version):

"I had thought, that the most important characters would die during the series. I was thinking, how each individual character would best fight and die for justice. They would not die for themselves, but for others, like Benizakura. I didn't get the permission to do it, though. Or I would have got, if I had woken up the dead characters afterwards."

He first appears in GNG chapter 25 (I think that's his first appearance, someone correct me if I'm wrong), but he's a nameless subordinate of Bill's unfortunately.

This image of him also appears in GDW as a photograph in volume 2 - Daisuke is looking at photos of the "dangerous" dogs Hidetoshi is hunting and he is one of them.

Shame he never had a name, but he frequently comes up as a 'who is this dog' question because of his design. I've nicknamed him Diamond

Who are Benizakura's owners? I mean not the names but who are these people adn why they own Benizakura. I guess that they are not the same people who had Benizakura during his dogfighting years. Also why Benizakura gave up dog fights?

Benizakura quit being a fighting dog after he saw Tsuna'arashi being used as the punching bag of young fighting dogs, realizing the same fate would eventually befall him as well if he kept doing dog fights.

It's not known how Nobuo, the oprhan kid who owned Benizakura prior to him joining the Ohu army, got him, but since it's stated he makes his living entirely out of making Beni fight bulls it's possible he felt bad for the kid and wanted to look after him.
