Murder S in the manga was my favorite hands down. Gin was also more interesting in the manga version

This is literally me. My past as an overconfident "skilled" person who openly disliked "pack" work for I thought that the others would just get on the way, my present as a humbler person and loyal friend to my besties. Though I didn't pay much attention to him and I didn't really like him till 2019 when I rewatched GNG. ^^''

I love his clever schemes xD, he can cause so much trouble with a simple lie.

I also love many of the less important characters though that's mostly because it's easier to make fanon personalities and abilities for them ^^

For this post I'm only counting characters who first appeared in GDW.

Saheiji: What a great role model and seriously the best father figure in the whole Ginga-series. I have a soft spot for good daddies and he is certainly one of them. I really like his design, too. In general I tend to like red-ish brown-ish dogs, but I also like his eyebrow spots and torn ears. Just a really handsome appealing design to me!

Jerome: His character was very cool, strong, and intelligent in the beginning, with an interesting backstory. After he lost his comrades his almost suicidal mentality was an unique trait. He was drawn really well in the beginning, too. Unfortunately I don't like him that much in the later series, as he doesn't seem to do anything anymore and I don't like the way he's drawn nowadays. What a waste of a great character!

Lydia: Ginga desperately needs more female characters and it was a great pleasure to have a high ranking badass female warrior! I think her design was kinda neat, too. Killing her in TLW was bullshit, though, and I didn't like the way some Ouu members treated her as a damsel in distress (hah!).

Yukimura: It was like having Riki alive again! He was so handsome and so unlike the pacifist Weed. I really enjoyed the macaque saga. I wish Yukimura had lived a bit longer instead of the more bland Joe.

Mukku: Ahhh I just love him for some reason. He was adorable and it was nice to follow a normal pet dog for a change instead of the billion hardened warrior characters we have. And then he just disappeared. :I
