Joe was mentioned by Orion in GDN recently, but other than that, theres been nothing about him. Personally, it's my headcanon that Joe is still alive somewhere since we never saw his body. I wanna see Koushirou again though..

His death was very poorly handled in my opinion, nobody mentions him except Orion and even Joe's son is never seen again. I put it on record as the moment Ginga went downhill for me and as one of the worst Ginga deaths

I completely agree. There have been so many characters who were forgotten and are probably not even known/remember by them. I don't think Yukimura was mentioned much.

It's seriously so depressing, especially with how much Weed made it a big deal to meet Joe and for Joe to forgive Weed for not being there for him. He worked so hard for that, they all reunited, and then .......... dead air. Unbelievable how anyone writing a story like that could forget such an important detail ;;

Besides Orion, I really don't think Joe left a big enough impact on anyone to justify keeping him around. He's basically diet Yukimura lol
Joe is pure filler in GDWO-he should have stayed with his human family after the bear arc, which at least would give Yoshi a plot and character(s) to come back to if he wanted.
Koshiro exists with Bella in da void lmao they ain't even characters to me

It could be Yoshi was just sick of Weed's brothers and used this as an opening to get rid of him and move on with the story.
