A good suggestion by SoullessDog - a topic for banner theme ideas!

There is a new theme every month for our rotating banners, and after 4 years thinking of new themes does get difficult and we often cycle through old themes that everyone enjoys.

If you have a theme idea to do with what banners you'd enjoy creating, please post it!

Masterlist:


Characters re-imagined in another country. Eg set in South Africa or Australia; what breeds would they be and what species would the villain be
Ginga characters as puppies
Ginga-inspired / manga/anime similar to Ginga
Self-Insert OC theme -User OCs inserted into Ginga as a hero, villain etc
Ginga as different genres (i.e Horror, mystery, sports, superhero, etc)
Ginga as different series (i.e Ginga as Pokemon, Ginga as Warrior Cats, Ginga as Lion King, etc)

What about some sort of "predictions/wishes for Yoshi's next series" theme before it starts in September? Like what the main villain(s) could be, what the Ohu dogs are doing, is it going to be a sequel to GDN or another Gaiden or something else entirely, that sort of thing.

What about a Self-Insert OC theme? OCs representing us and giving us a role in Ginga, maybe as a hero, villain, supporting character, someone in the background, etc.

I should say that I think certain themes are reusable to an extent. Holiday themes such as Halloween and Christmas come to mind. Maybe we could add a twist to those themes to make them more interesting somehow? I dunno.

Can't remember if these have been done before but:

I'd be hella down if we had a strictly Ginga OC-centric banner theme later down the line! I'm also on board for a theme where we focus on dogs that had enhanced abilities and such, i.e. Batto's Mind's Eye and Tenka's mind control

How about an "attack" month? About all the different attacks that exists in Ginga and beyond, like SSY.

I say family in general as well. Even minor ones in background that might only be parent and pups

What about a theme that is just tributes to the characters that died? Characters like Riki, Benizakura, John, and others.

To add on to this, maybe a theme where everything is flipped? Like the good guys are bad guys and the bad guys are good guys.

Oh yoyo, I'd think it'd also be cool to have character-specific banner themes for each month, like have one month dedicated to one Ginga/Yoshihiro character every once in a while!

Updated the list with some themes and the last dates they were used, plus some without dates that I know we've used before but I just can't find! Essentially if I'm struggling for a theme, an older theme not used for a while can be picked

Could maybe also be what inspired Ginga, or was inspired by Ginga? In a sence.
